Events giving us useless equipment with no vanity system out.

Swimsuits, Halloween and Lightning strikes. For some of these I'd like to be able to wear them into battle like a spooky ghost but you don't want to because then you'd be catering around level 1~13 gear.

Why do events keep giving us low level gear that just plain isn't viable when the second we're going to enter combat we switch right back over? Because of this it's become a hassle to even bother wearing it for more than 5 minutes.

We're getting all these 'costumes' and yet there's no vanity system out so we can't even appraise these things, we wear them and get them for the sole sake of having them and then we just switch on over.

I wouldn't mind too much if Vanity was coming out 2.1 since it's a month away, but they said vanity wouldn't make it in 2.1 and maybe not even 2.2.

So I ask, why do we keep getting useless apparel?
