Is the rel;ic weapon for WHM the first weapon one should upgrade? I have a choice between MNK feet and head or the Thyrus to +1 or possibly Clerics head?
Any advice? I know for DPS +1 is best upgrade, but can the same be said for WHM and for that matter SCH? Also I presume Alagan is better for both?

Depends on your focus. If you want to deck out your WHM +1 is your best choice. If you want to focus on your dps and feel the upgrades are going to help you with content then by all means spend your myth on your MNK.
If the values for Wep damage, spell speed, det, mind, and pie are anything like DPS stat weights than Thyrus +1 seems to be the best bet. It seems superior to Allagan cane as Thyrus +1 gives determination over PIE though it does have 11 less SS which is some small number off cast time/CD. Allagan Weapon is better than relic +1 for MNK, due to determination because of GL giving huge decreases to GCD.. Sch wants the Allagan weapon over Relic +1 because of the crit Allagan grimoire gives. This is hoping stat values follow something similar to DPS stat weights where.
Weapon Damage: 7.52 of main stat (MND being main stat here)
Mind: 1
Det: .22
Crit: .16
SS: something below crit >.>
That being said even those numbers are subject to scrutiny at this point. Sch values crit more heavily than other classes because of the way Adlo works
I.E. a non-crit 1000 Adlo gives a shield for 1000, however a crit Adlo for 1500 shields for 3000.
I based it off my gear at the time. I was still wearing AK Chest and Head pieces, so I went for the Myth Hat and Chest first. But I also made the mistake of upgrading my legs instead of going for +1, which I shouldn't have done looking back. Although I will get my +1 later today, so not too big of a deal.
I would say spend it on the class you plan to play with the most. If you just heal some of the time on your WHM and aren't taking him to Coil, then don't bother.
