Anyone else think that maybe myth tomes were originally meant to come from only Coil and Crystal Tower but due to CT being pushed back to 2.1 they said "Well damn, we have to put it somewhere! Just throw it in as a reward from AK and call it a day."?
Or do you think they were meant to be welfare epix all along?

It was always planned this way because it's what people begged and cried to SE for in 1.x.

I don't think AK was meant to reward iLevel 90 gear. The normal drops from the dungeon are only iLevel 60 and it drops tomes for iLevel 70, so dropping a second set of tomes that jump all the way to iLevel90 seems bizarre. I think they just felt like they had to do it to give people something to do because they didn't have as much content ready as they hoped.

People begged for a token system, sure, but I'm more curious about why they decided to put ilv90 tomes in ilv60 content (which already rewards ilv70 tomes anyway).

You know what I find hilarious?
Is that so many people cried about the fatigue system in 1.0, but not nearly as much people cry about mythology caps in this game. Or the fact that you can only do Coil once per week.
This game does not have a lot of content too like 1.0, but this is EVEN worse! They had THREE (3) years to fix this and they didn't!
