Order of The Blue Garter Poker Night! (Every Thursday)
Sometimes the wait between content updates in FFXIV is interminable, like that long boat ride across the River Styx, and Yoshi-P is Charon, teasing us with his Producer's Letters. However, we here at Blue Garter aren't satisfied with just sitting around on our laurels, waiting for content. We know how to roll. If you think gil in FFXIV has no value, you haven't taken advantage of PokerStars' new Home Game feature the way we have.
Every Thursday night at 9PM EST we host an in-house tournament, Hold Em', for anyone with a 100,000g buy-in. Since it has drawn so much attention from the linkshell, we've decided to open it up to all of Rabanastre, in the hopes that we can get the community to be active outside the game, if not inside the game. We also want all your money. We run games with buy-ins up into the millions as well for the crazy people like Mav Ftw and Carraway Author.

For the most part we'll be using play money chips to be converted into gil values, but we're also interested in other types of games (real money, TERA gold, etc.). Follow the directions above and post your character name/PokerStars ID so we know who's who. Order of The Blue Garter is a Company/Linkshell for stellar players who want to commit to an intense endgame experience. We run a tight roster with the expectation that our members achieve 100% attendance on scheduled events and a large play schedule to kill pixel dragons all day; every day. To be considered for a raid spot your "button pushing" skills must be exceptional. But additionally, you must demonstrate above-average intelligence, a thorough understanding of game mechanics, a high level of maturity when maturity needs to be shown, a strong command of the English language, and above all a complete and total lack of epeening, douchebaggery, asshattery, and anything else that would make you unpleasant to be around. We all get paid to deal with idiots, why should we pay to spend our leisure time with them as well? We are comfortable waiting for applicants who meet our demanding criteria rather than adding suboptimal players for a short-term fix.
