So sad

Been playing for a few weeks now and I love the game, but I do have one issue and I am sure it has been talked about already but still... Why must all the gear be SO ugly :(. Will they be implementing a "transmog" (sorry for WoW talk) anytime soon? I understand they are going for realism and such with the bulky armor for tanks but even the colors are saddening haha...

So in the end, am I screwed or will they be doing anything about it soon? Hopefully new armor skins and a "transmog system" (sorry again). It doesnt even have to be skimpy looking skins (even though I would love it :p) but just maybe something that I don't have to think twice about if the stats are worth the look haha...

When it comes to tank gear that looks like deep sea diving gear, I agree. How are you supposed to tank multiple mobs with that tiny little slit in your visor? You can't even see anything!

AK Gear is fugly

Most of the tank gear is fugly. There are few exceptions, but you don't get to keep them very long before moving on to the next fugly set.

There's been talk of vanity gear slots, but nothing is confirmed or set in stone. It's basically not a priority right now. I think it should be and there should be a cash shop type system for it. I'd pay good money for decent vanity armor/clothes and weapons.

Exactly what I mean! Its even worse that the gear that cannot equip a head slot item wont let me at least keep the helm portion from showing. (Yes I know technically there isn't a helm)

That is what I wanted to hear. Do you have any more information on that or was it just talk you heard in game? I understand its not a priority but just knowing it will come out eventually makes me a little happier.

That's why I never bothered with the clunky 'heavy' armour and just went with breastplate sets - whatever def bonus the heavy set gives was countered by not being able to equip headgear. A decent helmet with a breastplate set easily compensates for that. And as for colours, you do know you can dye most gear, or even strip the colour off completely and give it's natural colour? Like a metal finish? I normally preferred midnight blue for my armour as it had a nice metallic finish to it. :)

Yeah I know about dying, but that can only help so much. Armors that show a little more skin would be beautiful as well. (I know they want to be realistic).
