Please implement a position button or something

Currently a lot of people are complaining that they get hit by AoE that they believe they dodged. Supposably this is a latency issue. Please add. Since I don't want content nerfed, please give us a button that forces a positioning update to the server.

So people don't mis-interpret what I'm asking for, please let me explain

I'm not a programmer and I don't know net code, but I believe the system updates our character positions every what, 3 seconds was it? So people try to combat this by running out of the AoE earlier the. Needed, and then casting a spell (like cure) to force the system to register their new position. Why not give us a instant cast spell that costs no mp or tp. I don't care if its on a global cooldown, or has a cooldown of 10-20 seconds.
I for one have a problem with latency, and it's affecting me in coils, and it definatelly affected me in Titan hm.

While a 0mp spell that does nothing would work, they wont do it cos its basically admitting their game doesnt work

The position update tick is three times per second (every 333ms), not once every three seconds. To be honest, even if they did add something like this I don't think it would make much of a difference. On a good connection, the game plays perfectly fine and even with the server's 333ms tickrate I don't have many issues with getting hit by AoEs while outside of them. If your connection is crappy (or the network route from your PC to the server is inefficient or overloaded), you will still have problems because even the magic "update my position" button will still take 150ms+ to get to the server.

50% of the time I hit a instant ability while attempting to evade a mob[s](in general) special ability and it succeeds. The problem is the DATA center lag (and God knows why), it suppose to resolve the issue, not make it worse!

It's like if you already in the path of AoE when it starts building up, your screwed.

This, I know many big companies tent to not willing to admit their mistake, just feel sad that SE is one of them. "Zoom out the camera" is becoming the equivalence of the famous "Aren't you thankful" for FFXIV now.

I dunno I think this would just increase the problem as then people would just be spamming or macroing it to their abilities to force updates constantly. Especially in titan fights.

If you guys don't know already, plums force a position update before dealing the damage. If you die its probably because you or your latency is terrible

Plumes are really the problem, that can be healed through, but when I see a party member get landslides and fly off in a different direction, then I know they were hit due to latency. Same thing with piercing laser, when I know they passed rot to someone outside the laser... And they die... It's sad face time, especially when it's a bard or healer
