This is an extremely frustrating situation.
30 mins in a que to do Stone Vigil as a DD while levelling my alt character.
Finally get a healer to join just waiting on a tank.
Doing a FATE and call my chocobo.
Que gets cancelled. No warning until its too late .. Waste of 30 mins
This isn't the first time I have mistakenly done this.
This really needs to be fixed in some way.
Simply a confirmation box when using Gysahl greens when qued for duty, or the inability to use Gysahl greens while qued in for duty would be an improvement.
Ultimately Chocobos should be available while waiting in a que without interruption.

It's not just Chocobos. When you summon your chocobo into battle it joins your party. When you add a member to your party it'll kick you out of the queue because you changed the party composition that you had queued in for. It's not a chocobo problem.

But my point was more the fact that Chocobos shouldn't count as "changing party composition", and simply auto-withdraw chocos when you accept the duty, rather then kicking you out altogether. -

Completely agree here, I've done this by accident soooooo many times now and sometimes now I have to resort to doing some crafting or gathering just to be on the safe side.
Why should my game/playing style have to change (by not being allowed to use my choco for fighting) just to avoid getting penalised while in a queue!

This is being fixed in 2.1 which isn't far off, they will be improving other things regarding the Chocobo companion as well.
