Coil Raiding question...

Pretty simple question.

I went to BC T1 on Monday night with a group but we didn't manage to beat it.

On Tuesday the group with a few others beat T1 without me.

Now yesterday mostly the same group including myself grinding T2 for hours but again we're not able to defeat it.

Question is am I able to go back and complete T1 if I can find a group or am I stuck this week trying for T2 or higher because I was already in T2?

Remember I didn't defeat Cas in T1 but played T2 but wasn't able to kill ADS either.

Nope, can't go back to T1 once you enter T2.

If you entered someone elses group that was on T2 and went in you are now saved at T2 and can only join T2 and up groups until it resets.

^. Reset is Monday...9/10AM EST I think.

Once you enter a Turn the pervious one(s) are locked out until the reset on Monday.

So if your party leader takes you into Turn 5 for example, Turns 1~4 will be locked off to you, meaning if you join a 'Turn 2' party it'll simply tell you "NOPE" at the entrance when you try to enter.

It's to prevent people from gear-farming, but allows guaranteed drops (instead of crap drop rates), but it also leaves us with nothing else to do once we've done Turns 1-4 until we have the gear for Turn 5.

Shame.

I think everyone is missing the point of his question though. He was not part of the raid group when they killed either Cad or ADS. So his question is, are you saved just on entering, or killing the boss, or maybe once you kill anything in the turn (trash)? I'm also curious about this, incase I ever need to pug a turn, because if it's on killing the boss, and he didn't kill ADS, he shouldn't be saved to turn 2, and could try turn 1 again before monday.

it doesn't matter if u kill a turn boss or not, once u enter T2, u cant go back to T1, until reset

So it happens on entering the turn? Thanks for the clarification, I've only run it with the same group each week so I haven't been in a situation where I needed to pug it yet.

Although I guess a follow-up question, are you just saved to the turn, or that specific turn? For example, he entered turn 2 and didn't kill ADS, can he join someone elses coil group for turn 2, or only the one he entered?

once u r in T2, u can join any other ppl @ T2 or bring ppl to T2

example, this week i havent start any coil.
my fren, XYZ, started T1. kill ADS but fail to kill cad.
XYZ make new pt for coil & i leech on him & skip ADS.

It's based on the party leader at the time. Whatever advancement the party leader has made, that's the furthest point that the party will go to upon entering Coil. Therefore, if any single member of the party has reached a later turn during the week than the party leader is at, the instance won't begin. So, he can join someone else's group to go back into Turn 2 and it'll be perfectly fine, but if he beats Turn 2 with that new group, he cannot be a party member with his first group to do Turn 2 with them. The only way, until reset, that he'd be able to go back into Coil with his original group would be if he became party leader and started Turn 3, thus forcing the party to skip past Turn 2.
