Some changes to crafting
1. The price of shards is too damn high! There is no way to craft more shards like in 1.0, so I have to either spend a ton of gil just to craft, or I have to waste a ton of time on a gathering class I don't have any interest in.
2. Make crafting quests more like 1.0 where materials are given by the NPC. I shouldn't have to spend thousands of gil on materials just to complete a quest. There should be no cost for undertaking a quest. I don't do crafting quests for this reason.
3. Some recipes should be discovered/learned along the way. I hate the idea of knowing the recipe for every item in the game right away.
4. Add more end-game crafts that are going to make getting to level 50 worth it. It is getting easier and easier for level 50 players to get dungeon gear/darklight gear with no similar crafted gear to compete.
5. Give us recipes that aren't related to NPC quest rewards. When NPC's give gear for completing quests, that gear becomes extremely cheap on the markets and there is no way to profit from those items or related items. If I'm looking for new gear on the market board at level 15 and I see the level 15 NPC armor goes for 150 gil I am not going to pay for more expensive gear.
