Blacklist

So I have my blacklist at the full 200 with gil spammers and RMT people and none of them get deleted. So for a month Ive have a full blacklist while still getting spammed. Is SE going to do anything about this? It is mildly annoying to try to go to towns to get bombarded by spam from bots.

I honestly doubt it anytime soon. My favorite solution, I've seen on the forums, is opening the ability to whisper as players get their airship pass.

I would try removing a chunk of the earlier ones from your blacklist to make room for the new ones.

The characters might not have been deleted, but it's unlikely that all 200 are currently active spammers. You can just re-blacklist any who somehow still are spamming.

Filter shouts from your main tab and make a seperate one for those which you only open outside of town.
Nobody shouts in towns anymore because of these bastards anyway.

This'll save you some blacklist space as you now only have to blacklist the ones that send you /tells.

Aside from that, as the people above me are saying, it should be pretty save to unlist the entries older than a week.
SE doesn't seem to delete banned characters, any <deleted> entry you see in your lists is likely a rerolling RMT that's trying to avoid the banhammer by deleting and making new characters.
