Relic +1 Allagan Weapon

Not at home, and the search function does not work on this terminal. Just FYI or I would seach to see if I could find this answer.

So, I just hit 50, and I am soaring through the last of the story, I'm now setting my eyes on the endgame grind for the best gear available to us. Well, I was looking at my weapon as a WHM and I noticed that, I prefer the stats on the Allagan then my Relic +1. I adore Spell Speed over a lot, and Allagan gives a whole lot more, and gives a whole lot more mp than my Relic +1.

My point is, is Allagan actually better for WHM, and if not, would I be looked down upon for wanting it more than my Relic +1? All I see everywhere is how bloody amazing the Relics are. But, I don't see it so much? Am I blind?

You need to clear turn 5 of Coil to get an Allagan Weapon.

Might as well +1 your weapon and keep on grinding.

Well, that is obvious. But, I'm also looking beyond the stars. And I guess, if you were not in the Healer Role, what would you rather see someone weilding?

Guess I should have stated I know that the Allagan weapon drops in Turn 5, and leaving that out of the equation as I'm looking beyond that as well.

Speaking as someone that's killed twintania, I'd rate the allagan cane slightly lower than thyrus +1 stat wise. Spellspeed is trash.
However in terms of e-peen, when I get the drop I'll switch out Thyrus asap and never look back.

Determination is better then spellspeed so +1 better then allagan weapon.

Allagan weapon replaces Determination with Piety, and it gives slightly more spell speed than Thyrus.
I personally really like Piety, and I'd choose Piety over DET/spell speed any day simply just from personal preference.
What would I wear? Allagan cane probably. Why? Simply because I like piety as a stat, it shows content clear, and I like how it looks. (The thyrus glow doesnt do much for me, mainly because it doesnt glow while sheathed, so it feels kinda weird to me O_o)
Which one is better? Thyrus +1.

Not to mention you'll get +1 significantly quickly than Allagan. I haven't gotten that far yet but i'm guessing you need to gear up pretty significantly to stand toe to toe in t5? That sure aint gonna happen over night. And if you don't get +1, what are you going to roll in the mean time until you get allagan?
