Why would you tie quests to the duty finder?
I don't understand what the issue here is?
Because they're story-based dungeons which are instanced?
Welcome to FFXIV:ARR, where /everything/ is instanced.
You better get used to it!
(Doesn't matter THAT much, it's worked so far)
Because its better that way and allows people to access content faster...
There is nothing that stops you from getting 4 or 8 people on your server and go into the dungeon. You don't have to wait for strangers from other servers.
Option 1 : Stand in <city> /sh "Dungeon X... do you need it" for 234 hours
Option 2 : DF
Pick a choice?
Option 3: set you search info to "searching for party: dungeon X" and die of old age waiting.
...because people don't use systems that are in the game and actually prefer shouting over the rest lol.
so you want to keep shouting and hope someone is going to do the same thing as you instead of joining ppl from every server via automatically system?
