Look like a bunch of disgusting insects rather then Magitek Armor. This mount look even more hideous in bigger numbers.

because all the other MMOs have it?

even the latest offline FF has it (XIII-2).

I'm pretty pleased with the ability to jump.

I've played FFXI for over 9 years and one of the "minor issues" I had with that game was that my character couldn't even scale an ankle high pile of snow.
