Patches With All Bark & No Bite Leaving You Disappointed?

As the title says... If your disappointed with the lack of content in patches.. Just come back in a year (If the game is still around).

Learn to set the bar low.. Or in Square Enix's case extremely low. So when patches come out.. You aren't left as disappointed!

Turn that negative into a positive!

No huge promises for this patch. You built it up for yourself, they did not. Cry more.

I think 5 topics for a 'middle' patch is a bit too much.. :p

Who said this patch was going to give us anything? really people this is just a small patch with all the dats for next month patch get over it,.

make me want to look up all the dats and screenshot it so we can't stop making dumb topic about it.

SE should have just not said this at all. When they make statements like this, it's only natural people speculate when they see 1.17b on the horizon. It's called optimism...

This patch might be small in regards to what we have access to, but there is a lot of stuff that we be made available in the next patch. Also get used to .a and .b patches to be small, mostly bug fixes.

The release of content will start coming out faster starting with patch 1.18 and continue on until the end of the summer beginning fall. It just took SE a month or two to reorganize the team, come up with a plan, and then execute. The later part takes most of the time.

So we should see a deluge of content until the end of the year, things will probably slow down then as they prepare the first expansion pack, probably due around this time next year.

But I also think the first expansion pack should be nothing more than a very large downloadable patch that is free. That's not to say SE should not be charging monthly fees by then. That should happen before the end of the year

I had no expectations for this patch, but this is incredibly deceptive wording and can be interpreted many ways.

I am waiting for 1.18 to see the fruit of their labour. I always said we would get very little until the battle system came so that is what I shall be judging on, if that is a dud then I will probably throw in the towel.

Even though I knew we wouldn't get anything until the battle patch I am always disappointed when I see the patch notes though ; ;

This is the reason why everyone is upset. Why be so misleading? It serves no purpose except to aggravate the players... which is totally happening if you haven't noticed >_>
