Unspoiled Node Farming

Hey, guys. I just got to 50 Botanist last night. Did the last quest and got my blue grade Axe and bought HQ everything else. Puts me at 87% on items and 1% for HQ. Looking at the Market Board history(Cactuar Server) I can see that the only items worth farming are Crawler Cacoons and Spruce Logs. Is this common across other servers? Any other suggestions would be appreciated. : ) I realize I won't become super rich just gathering items but so far, it's a decent income for the amount of time I actually spend on the game.

I use a relatively large amount of black truffle and pineapples.

Pineapples are the easiest to make piety food since it's all you need and you need a lot of them. You have enough time to hit both the spruce logs and it.

Clusters still sell relatively high on my server and tier 4 materia is starting to pick up in sale speed with nobody farming it so it's still relatively high. If you were to go out and farm them for sale Fire/Water cluster probably would sell in the highest quanities since food is made in higher amounts normally.

Aside from that the rest is all more or less worthless.

Yeah unless you're specifically feeding a culinarian, all of the "food" is worthless. The Trillium bulbs? Worthless. The kidragora? Worthless. Check the cluster prices, but they're probably not worth farming either. It's kind of unfortunate that these nodes only spawn once per game-day, but so many of them are just plain crap.

Spruce Logs going for 50g each. Scratch that off the list of worthy farming. Grade 4 carbonized matter seems to be good. I'll have to check clusters. Still working on my 4k logging achievements, too. Gotta get dat shiny axe. :p
