Grand Company Change

I switched Grand Companies once the option opened up not thinking that I would have to grind the ranks for the next one... meep.
So am I correct in thinking that you have to do all the instances again that comes with ranking? It's so true isn't it.

More importantly can you go back to your old company and them not hate you? In other words...rank with them again?..UGH. Say it is not so!

When the option opened I thought. "Oh how neat I'll just hang without these guys for awhile...Didn't go like that." The GC dude was full of lies and pain!

Well of course you cannot switch gc and keep your rank lol your rank is for a gc not for each. If you were a capt in the army and moved to England you couldn't maintain a capt rank in the English army.

You must be new to the FF franchise. You nearly always start at the bottom and have to work your way up. Plus this game is easy as hell and seals drop like rain, you can likely max your rank in a new company in no time
