I'm a bit unsure of what CD to use. The evasion is nice, but second wind can generally pull your hp up if your in a tight spot. Suggestions?

Second Wind is pretty bad. In 99% of situations a measly 450~ heal will not serve any use. If the CD was 60s, then maybe it might prove useful, but at 450~ HP per 2m it ain't saving anyone.
Only up for debate personally is Awareness vs. Internal Release.
Well usually I can get around 750 or 1k crits worth of heals. Seemed like it might be a good ability with Thrill of Battle
750 is 1/10 of your health.
Id rather evade 2 or 3 hits than heal for 750.

What else are you using? Progression content or farm?
I miss the BETA version of Second Wind. It use to restore 20% static. Personally, I dont use it. My set up is Provoke, Flash, Convaleance, FeatherFoot, Internal Release. Depending on the content your doing, Flash Is not always neccessary since you have Overpower; In those situations I use Second Wind instead of Flash.
This is the real question for me. In the coil I parsed turn 1, 2, 3, and as far through 4 as we could get and I was only struck with a crit for a total of 3.5k damage for the whole night. Was likely only one crit at that. Made me think awareness was pretty pointless unless I already know the mobs in question crit often.
