New LS being formed to help new players progress - social/helpful/fun!

Hello,
I am planning on forming a LS on the server for new players to the game. The goals of the LS will be:

- help all new players link up with other new players and/or vets in the LS in order to run all story dungeons or help with hunting logs, quests, etc.
- be a place where no one is afraid to ask questions, no matter what they are, and are not talked down to or ignored
- be a place free of all elitism or rudeness towards those who are new or just learning
- be a LS with vets who are willing to help out even if it takes time away from their own progression, as these helpful players find joy in helping newer players succeed

If you'd like to join the LS as either a new player on or as a helpful vet, please respond via this thread and I or co-leader Deneb will be sure to invite! Here's to a future full of fun and no duty finder horror stories!

Hey all - sorry I haven't had the chance to check this :) I'll get an invite out to you all -- right now I'm just now starting the LS so there are hardly any folks yet, but I hope as you get in and get together with people for dungeons, etc. that you can recruit more who may need help or may offer help!

This is a great idea for the community Mirielle.

Hello all i will be helping and working with MirielleLavandre with this new and friendly linkshell, i am Carn Astrael, female Gladiator level 38, but i also am working up Conjurer, Arcanist, Marauder, and a number of crafting classes and will be happy to help with any and all questions and dungeon runs, as a Tank, that you may need. Feel free to ask and I will always do whatever I can to help out...lets have fun and share this wonderful adventure together. ...see you in Eorzea, i will be able to drop in during the day US time as well as the evenings so will be adding names to the shell as you post along with Mirielle, and feel free to suggest us to others who you may feel may enjoy sharing with us. No rules beyond be nice, play nice and be fair and kind. ..and always lend a hand to any who are at the sharp end of a monster, cornered by a baddie or lost in the desert :) I am fairly new to Final Fantasy and MMOs of this type so i am learning hard along with many of us, but i have made it thru the first seven dungeons and will be happy to go back and help you with them if you need it. Mirielle, Illeana in the game, is a Level 50 Bard and very experienced at all of this and can help even more with a lot of it all, and we are joined by Deneb as fellow coordinators we will do all we can to welcome you and to share the adventure that we can all enjoy so much.
