Seriously, not much to say here heh.. Just the server as a whole has gotten very, very small, and any new players, or transfers over would bulk up the market and cohesiveness of the server. Not posting just for a FC, posting this for the whole server!
What data supports your claim? I play on coeurl and it seems pretty congested during the weekends and.. late afternoons during the week.
Compared to the amounts we had pre-subfee, it has dropped quite sharply. FC that were boasting hundreds and hundreds of members have whittled down to mid to low 50s at max for ones still playing, unless they aren't cleaning their rosters. Suppose its not really as much of transfers or new players we would need, as the smaller FC out there working together to form larger ones. A FC of 2-3 members, unless its for personal use, wouldn't be able to recruit easily, and would never really grow. Instead, why not combine said smaller companies with ones that are struggling to get members as it is? Creates more uniformity for the entire server, and makes it easier to refill lost ranks due to players ending their free month.
Although you make a valid point for merging small FC's to replenish members I only see problems with that in then end. FC's were designed to let people work together as a group and bond friendships. The problem with FC's are the become more of a social Linkshell than a actual functioning company. Hell even the ones that are created just for END GAME Content end up being just a social hang out. Example :

Man, the idea of being in a FC to tackle stuff so you don't depend on the Duty Finder is ideal. yet only a few and I yet to find a FC on our WORLD that functions like a company instead of a Link shell.
Imagine you go to work and everyone there sits around and chats about movies and concerts and what you did last night... ect ect.. and the boss comes out and says.. Alright everyone.. Glad your here now lets .. Talk about something not related to our Company for the rest of the day. Everyone Ok with that ?????
My idea for a FC is to function like a well run machine. There should be scheduled events, Dungeon Runs, Static Teams assigned, Certain Hours to Log a week.
Contribute to Company Coffer , Craft items for Members, Deeds done will earn you company rewards. ( Lottery ) be it gil, items or what ever.
If you know of one like that on our Server let me know.
Same as you said, I don't think one of those exist on the server yet. Maybe this post will fuel the kindling that we have potential to the server, and light up peoples fire for an agenda system as you pointed out. After all, everyone can be in only 1 FC, but can be in 4 LS. Really, REALLY wish that each server had its own forum stubs, would make these topics much easier to discuss as a whole.
