Housing and HQing?

Like some people I'm excited about housing in 2.1 (wanted personal housing first). But there is something that was bothering me thou. Will there be a purpose in hqing mats for housing?

Cause I really cant see a real reason for hqing mats unless its REQUIRED but other than that I dont see a reason to. Also makes me think that there might be a higher craftmanship requirement than 347 but I might be paranoid.

I want my crafting peeps to give their thoughts on the question.

The furniture of FFXI had beneficial stats tied to them. If we can HQ furniture, I can see this coming to FFXIV. If it's purely decorative, then high synthesis will just be unavailable. That's my guess.
