[Guide] Hit lvl-50 and now is time to…

I open this tread to have different opinions of what is the best thing to do after you hit lvl 50 for first time, hope this help to guide new lvl-50 players than don’t know what or where to begin after beat the story mode.

For example: Get some i-lvl 55 armor (buying in the markets, or maybe running “x” or “y” quest) to enter “x” o “y” quest to get stones, then get i-lvl amor “x” or “y” to fight the primals hard mode and then enter bahamut coilt, or maybe is better to to get extra crossclass abilities’ and spend time crafting to get you relic instead of trying to get the ifrit, garuda whatever weapon, etc.

fell free and give you opinion, according to you experience of what is “the best thing to do”, in order to gear-up, reach end game content, improve hablities, etc.

Run Wanderers palace a lot as a fresh 50 and once you get some drops and can buy some darklight pieces (jewelry first) run Amdapor Keep forever to get lvl60 armor pieces and philosopher stones for more DL pieces. Then you can start running ifrit/garuda for weapons and start working on relic questline. Once you have full or nearly full DL and relic you can hop in coil.

Ok question. I know you have to run the top level dungeons a lot to accumulate tomes to buy darklight stuff with, but you also mentioned lvl60 armor pieces? What are you speaking of, and what purpose do they serve, can you please elaborate on that? And by philosopher stones, do you mean Tomes of Philosophy?

By level 60 he means item level 60 pieces. They drop from Amdapor keep. They require level 50 to equip but since they are a higher item level than stuff in Wanderer's Palace and Artifact armor they are generally stronger pieces of gear.

Darklight is item level 70 and is even stronger than the Amdapor gear.
