I log onto the Tank Role forum as often as I can to see if there anything new or exciting being posted about the tanking classes or strats. Every time I check, such as today, there is a thread like "Dear Archers" (http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...5-Dear-Archers) and these threads pretty much consist of one players personal blog about what they don't like about how other people play the game.
I know that I can choose not to click on them and read them because you can generally tell which threads are people whining and which are legitimate discussion. But I was hoping maybe Square Enix could build in a Twitter/Facebook/blog feature to the game so when people get pissy about some outcome or event they didn't enjoy, they could take it out on their Facebook friends and not us.
Yes, I realize the hypocrisy in this post, but I hope that maybe some of you bloggers out there in the Tank Roles section will cease and desist after reading this.

The Lodestone has a feature for people to post blogs. It seems to be much more common among the JP than the other nationalities though.

The tank role is full of narcissists. I wouldn't expect anything less. Not all of us are, but a higher percentage than in other roles. It's natural that a narcissist would gravitate to a role in which the entire party's success or failure depends on their own personal success or failure.
You should have seen the 1.0 PLD and WAR forums. -

Most common complaint among tanks of any MMO is archers/hunters. They're always the single worst class to deal with, always has been always will be. They have the highest proportion of people that pull before you do and the highest amount of people that don't know how to play. I don't know what it is about hunter/archers but thats how it is.
