My FC tends to play late at night due to everyone working, and we also try to come on during the weekends.
I myself live in Hong Kong and am 1 hour behind Japan (I think) I manage to play with the NA guys on my FC during the weekends pretty fine.
Usually getting together on a Saturday between 9-10EST which is 9-10am Sunday morning for me.
