i havent played this since the beta and i dont know if anyone has a first gen ps3 but every time i played i my screen would go black and i couldnt see where i was going and couldnt do anything but if anyone has a first gen ps3 does this still happen or is this fixed
It has not been fixed. I wish we could get some specific feedback on the problem but I do believe they are working on it.
Follow up: I've been able to gain a somewhat stable game state by setting up a fan to blow into the PS3. I guess that the problem is related to older "fat" PS3s not cooling well or something of that nature. I recommend trying that if you have a fan available. It is a 75% solution and the screen still goes black on me sometimes, but I have been able to finish all of the lv 50 dungeons using this method. Give it a shot.
My brother plays fine on the old fat.
Did you try undusting it a bit? Even a vacuum cleaner starting at low speed is good. It reduced the fan speed required to cool it by 2 speeds kinda and makes less noise.
It seems that there have not been any further posts about this concern being an ongoing issue. Because of this, we are considering it to be resolved.
