Use of leve allowances?

Just wondering if theres a go-to leve that gives a large payout for a certain item. I know it will vary by server and what the items cost but I'm sure some people here have something they use that makes decent gil for turn ins with leves assuming you have all your jobs capped.

The problem with publicly putting it out there how you make gil is that if too many people start doing it the profit plummets. In FFXI I made a lot of gil early on with gardening elemental ores. I made millions before other people started doing it. And then almost overnight the market was flooded and the profit was completely gone.

I'm not saying I know some way to make gil in FFXIV that I'm not sharing. I don't. But anything someone shares with you here they share with the world, and you'll find the market dries up.

I figured that wouldn't be an issue, due to the fact that you're turning in items to an NPC and not selling things on the market. Perhaps thats my fault, I didn't really articulate that well at all.

but can be quite time consuming if you are HQing all 9 items, even if you can HQ no problem its still 20ish steps per item and you need 9 of them lol

Also, any item you get will likely either be needed for the craft you did the Leve for, so you won't want to sell it, or will be so common from others doing the same Leve that it's worthless to sell at market.

A better idea is to search and see if any Leves offer mats to save yourself time and gil. However, I've noticed such rewards are not always offered. Sometimes you have to come back later and check the Leve again.

That is the most cost effective leve out there if you HQ it. You get right around a 1k return in gil. Do the math the mats are cheap and the shard count is low. Its not huge money but you ARE going to make money every time you turn in this leve. Triple turn ins more often than not end up losing you money because once you hit 20 it takes 2-4 shards per item you need to turn in 9 of them. So at 36 shards at 50 gil a piece that is 1800gil not including the other mats. Something to think about folks ;)
