Limbo Disconnect

I was in ak final boss when roughly at 50% hp I suddenly start doing no dmg other than auto attacks. I can move and do rotations but it won't register. I'm still in the game but the other players said that I'm just auto attacking and standing there. I was chatting with them and they told me its like I went afk. Luckily I built up enough threat so they were able to kill it w/o stealing it so... afk corner tanking ftw lol but seriously this needs to be fixed and it happens frequently since 2.05 to the point where I only do my myth cap then not play the game. Anyone else have this problem?

I have never had this problem. Maybe issue with route from ISP to Server, you can try having your PC directly connected to your modem to rule out network issues on your end.

This happens to me often during "peak" hours at Central Standard Time. It's more to do with my internet provider than FFXIV, though. I'll "idle" according my FC members on team speak for a few seconds, then the game "catches" up in very fast sequence. My internet provider is fine for the most part, but I have limited options where I live (more cattle and corn/beans than people).

I'm with Shaw Broadband 100 (Manitoba) but really the issue is that this all happened AFTER the 2.05 hotfix. Before that I had the exact same ISP and router and have not experienced any of this on a frequent scale. Mind you it does happen on occasion like once a week but since then its been 2-3 times a dungeon run. It even happens when I'm gathering and crafting so I'm likely to suspect that its more on SE's side than the isp. Plus we just had an EM addressing that very problem of "Network Instability".

It's usually the connection between your ISP to the servers.

anyone know how I should go about solving this problem? What to ask? What to look for? etc.
