any word if they will change egi

I know like most people think the smn egi pet is ugly compare to ffxi smn pets. I read somewhere they are saying they will fix the af2 gears skins why not fix the egi skins too. Egi is just butt ugly, but scholar pet looks better then smn right now.

Not sure where the dev post about it is, but yea, they said they intend for them to not look exactly like the primals because you're just summoning some of their energy, not the actual primal.

And uh, what are you talking about fixing the AF2 skins? AF2 hasn't been released yet, and the "AF2" (myth gear) that is in the game all looks amazing...

At most they will add new EGI, but I dont think they will get a new skin or transform into new forms like with Aion Online. I remember complaning about it in the Beta forums and someone of SE told me back then that this was not going to change.

I appreciate them being little energy representations of their respective primals, considering the Primals themselves are seemingly pretty strong willed and doubtful they would let themselves be summoned by a 'son of man'. Even their energy tried to kick your butt when you first tried to summon it.

Besides, have you 'looked' at the Primals closely, they aren't exactly the fairest beings in the land either, and you're summoning a tiny version of them.

Since we're talking about how much better it was in XI, why not just avoid summoning your pets all together and just be a super gimp healer the entire game, because that was so much better.

sigh, see the thing about this is, I rolled scholar since the fairy's looked better than the primal summons. You know theres a problem when a fairy looks more badass than someone whos meant to be summoning the mighty pissed off primal's
