Re-creating linkshells
As previous threads have pointed out, since we can't remove players from linkshells, my old linkshell is now full of dead accounts. Since no plans have been made to address this issue, and since I would like to re-start my linkshell, it sounds like I need to re-create it. However, I'm reluctant to do so because I'm worried that the linkshell name will be locked out. I know people have re-created their linkshells before, but I was wondering if they were able to re-use the same name, or whether they had to choose a new name.

don't quote me, but i understood once you delete the original linkshell if you are the leader you can use the same one again.
instead of testing it on your main shell though i would advise trying to make another shell and delete it and see if you can make that new shell again. just make a baby shell testshell12212 or something then delete it and try to make the shell again. at least then you would know the answer for sure instead of taking someone's answer as fact then finding out it is not.

Good advice. I tried it out, and it disbands the linkshell on existing members, allowing you to re-create with the same name. I've got a brand new linkshell now. Yay!

good deal. i just didn't want to advise you to try the method on your main shell and have a major problem when it couldn't be remade.

they just need give us the right to remove people if there on or not.

You can re-create the Linkshell immediately after you break it. We have done this on my linkshell.
