Why post gear/wep when /sh LFG

I don't get this. If your looking for WP and AK, why /sh relic +1 full dl etc? It's just WP and AK for goodness sakes...esp WP. Why not just post your job?

Simply put: speed runs

Because you can clear WP/AK for your tomes one hell of a lot faster in DL w/ relics than you can in AF and low lvl accessories.

So they can do it faster.

When you have to do something 100+ times, you want to do it as fast as possible.

This topic is more aimed at the individual trying to join a group for AK or WP without mention of sr and not a group looking for a member. It's just someone wanting to get a group period. I see it all the time.

Cause regardless of SR or not, a Relic+1 person might get into any pt faster than someone who doesn't mention their gear.... perhaps o_O

It feels like you're just looking for an argument for the sake of it without thinking of possible logical answers first, lol.

I think it is understandable.

There are a lot of DPS looking for group.

So if one DPS shouts with a lot of information on him/herself - he has a higher chance to get an invite compared to a "dps lfg plz inv" shout.

True, Relic and Full DL is not neccessary, but it is an advantage... and if a group is looking for a DPS they either take friends/FC-members... or if they take strangers, they pick one that has a high chance of being a well equipped and experienced player if they have a choice... and they usually do.

Let's put it this way. I run AK on my scholar who has DL + Relic. If I'm going to form a group or if I'm looking for members I'm going to grab the guy with the relic over the guy without.

This. There's typically lots of DPS looking for group. Listing gear/etc is just a way to make you stand out from the crowd.
