Titan DF

If you're doing Titan HM using DF, you should understand that most people are new to the instance, it's one of the more challenging fights with less forgiving mechanics, and chances are very low that (at this point) you will complete the kill.

Enjoy the practice. Celebrate the progress. Appreciate that you--and your random mates--are improving at the fight. Once you feel like you have your role down for that fight, build your group using your FC, friends, shouting, or whatever.

Titan HM at this point is really more for practice than anything else. This will change as people get better and a more established base of 50s hits the servers.

I wish this was the globally accepted way of going about Titan HM through DF. It's unfortunate to hear that so many people drop out of parties after 1 wipe. Practice the fight, wipe as many times as it takes (or at least til your jewelry gets to 10%/breaks), and if you happen to win then it'll feel all the better. Just make sure you're stocked up on Phils, otherwise you've got 9 AKs/WPs to run afterward. :B

The only reason I ever DF Titan HM is for practice, if I get a party of people who can beat it even better, but I don't hold out my hopes for that one.

Has anyone ever won Titan with DF randoms and AF users?

I finished Titan HM with DF. So did 3 other people in my FC.

Sure did. First run with the group. Everyone was in for practice and most had watched the videos and then we nailed it :)

I wish everyone felt this way. I'm the type that can't learn just by watching. I need to actually do the fight to get it to stick in my head. So no matter how many videos I watch, I'm not going to get it until I do it. If I can't do it because someone died and you start yelling about how we're all useless and need to watch videos and go do Titan normal (??? because that's totally the same fight...) to practice, I'll never learn.
Basically, if you want a party full of elite pros, you need to go shout or use your FC. Otherwise, chill. Understand that not everyone in the Duty Finder is a pro, and help them out instead.

No thank you. I have DF'ed Aurum Vale like 12 times and haven't cleared yet... Why use a party forming utility if the instances arent able to be completed by pugs? They should strip the duty finder down to only dungeons up to Stone Vigil. Im done with ffxiv for now anyway because im a noob healer and have gotten stuck on every dungeon since Stone Vigil and i absolutly hate how difficult the dungeons are. I'm resubbing to wow again next paycheck and going to enjoy some easy breezy disc priest healing. Call me a noob or a wimp for giving up but jesus christ the dungeons in ARR are insanely hard.

Sorry. I have healed all of the dungeons and this has not been my experience. AV is not bad at all. Now, demon wall in AK is rough, but AV... not that bad. I advise someone take time to explain fights.
