Materia melding?

1. For BLM you'd need to level Goldsmith. Only that class can meld materias into blm's weapons.

2. If I remember right you need Grade 3 Carbonized Matter. It can only be procured by gathering (which means it can be bought from market, of course).

3. Materials to meld what you need shouldn't cost much (although I'm on legacy server - for me it was 3k for each materia + few hundred for a small stack of carbonized matter), since they can be procured quite easily. The problem would be leveling the goldsmith class, since that would cost time and money.

I'd say it's better to just find a person that would meld it for you. At this moment there should be quite enough of them and there's certainly someone nice who'd do it even for free :p

The Carbonized matter can be found on the markets under "Catalysts".

If you find a Goldsmith you just have to right click on them (or target them and hit Square on the gamepad) and pick "Request Materia Meld". You have to have all items involved on your person(Catalyst, Materia, and the Item to be melded).
