$25 for a toon transfer?
Seriously SE?
I mean yes, Blizzard and a few other companies do it, but even to them I question why? You get money from subscriptions, crystals, and probably soon cash shops. Why do you insist of making the community pay 25 dollars for a transfer?
I feel to any company who charges more than 10 dollars for a transfer is a ripoff. But then again, everyone is trying to make a quick buck. I just hope you use the money for more content later on this year.

Yep, Square is totally forcing you to spend $25 to transfer, because it's a necessary thing to do for everyone.
-
Yep, I am so upset!!! They should have given us 5 days of free transfers..................................................
-
Thats why its an optional service.
Not like they're forcing you to use it, or it gives someone an in-game advantage.
Just waiting for Fantasia pots to become buyable myself.

It makes money yes.
It's also to put some barrier against people transfering constantly. Arbitrage and other sorts of abuse and whatnot.
-
I will admit, 25 bucks is a bit high. If I needed to transfer I wouldn't pay that much.
-
It's to stop people hopping between servers every day or so to make shit tons of money or leaving your rep behind too quickly, it's also an(other) RMT prevention mechanic for the same reason.
-
The just gave everyone 5 days to transfer for free. If you didn't do it for whatever reason that's in you but charging for Xfer is pretty common. It was $25 in XI so why would it be different for XIV. It's also option also they aren't forcing you or anyone ...

For mentioning blizzard, complaining about something somewhat trivial and being that cheap.
