Binding coil of Bahamut turn2 :impossible to dodge line AOE

Stand outside the AOE area for about 1-1.5second & still get hit
My ping is around 280ms,

This is just not fun.
I am sure SE will lost customers because of this

ya know,I played uo,eq1,eq2 ,wow, nobody ever told me "fix your connection!" or "I'll transfer my character to NA/JP server, because I can't dodge the AOE", until XIV!

For it being impossible to dodge, I sure do dodge it a lot.

I have two full coil groups across PC/PS3 and NA/EU/AU players and we can all dodge it. A lot of it is on your end.

Even with the insane amounts of lag that came with the last update, I'm still able to dodge piercing lazer just fine. It can hit you sometimes even if you're out of it but that's only if you don't start moving right when the line shows up on you.

As my buddy neo says:

PLAY BETTER

All of ADS' attacks like cannon, piercing laser, etc. are actually slightly larger than the red circle makes it out to be. Simply run a little further.

280 ping, and everyone is saying "play better". Lol.

I play with around 600 ping at a hotel, and have no issues.

To dodge or not to dodge inspite of lag is not the point. The uncertainty and the feeling of having to way overcompensate just makes it a bad mechanic.
