Allow us to black list user accounts.

Most of the content of my chat log is RMT spam in the form of tells or shouts, and blacklisting the player doesnt matter as the RMTer just makes a new character and moves on.

I understand that a character creation limit was implemented last patch to address this, but it doesnt seem to be making a dent.

We should have the option to blacklist a character's entire account in order to counteract this.

I just came in here to look for information on that.. my god.. i've been spammed the whole day by /tells from these Golceo random characters players.. omg... they won't leave me alone.. is this a strategy to get me off the game? because it's working.. jesus... I've been playing Pokemon most of the day but the second i turn to the PC to do a Fate i'm spammed all over again by the same person i just black listed...

This the picture highlighting the 3 names could possibly be on 3 different accounts Square Enix needs to shut down these sites and/or make it possible to buy GIL. Other MMOs that have gone to paying real money for currency and hardly have any spamming issues.

was gona make my own thread on this but decided to do a lil searching.

Something definately needs to be done at the very least an easier way to blacklist like by right clicking on the name in chat and have an option there to blacklist would already be an up but right now this is BULLSHIT!!!

EDIT: ok rage assides I am teetering on quitting just out of being spammed, its kinda like that kid that sits there poking you the first few times you just shrug and ignore it but after daily doses of this... its just getting to the point where I'm ready to call it done.

In addition can we please have a Blacklist option in the subcommand menu when highlighting a name in the feed?

Maybe this is a thing on PC but on PS3 there is a 'Send Tell' but no 'Blacklist'. This would be a great feature.

Until we get an easier way to blacklist spammers, i suggest creating a macro with the following...

/blacklist add "<r>"

That will add the last person who sent you a /tell to your blacklist.
