The problem: DPS queues are too long often 45 min to over an hour, tank and healer queues are instant. Way more people in the game play DPS over tank and healer, its like this in every mmo just about.
Suggestion: When the matchmaking system detects there is a longer then 15 min wait for a dps for a dungeon it should start offering MVP points for people that queue on the roles that are lacking tank and healer and successful finish a dungeon.
Rules for this, the tank or healer must queue solo, the duty finder system must detect a lack of tanks or healers to offer extra MVP points and the dungeon must be completed in order to earn MVP points.
This would be a neat way to encourage players to play tank or healer roles or to have a veteran tank or healer queue up if they are trying to earn points toward that MVP pet or mount when they normally otherwise wouldn't due to being point capped.

We get already a bonus in 2.1 if we join the DF in a role that is lacking (the DF say which role it is). What bonus it is SE didn't say it. It can be exp, gil or tokens, but I doubt it would be MVP points.
MVP points should not be earned automatic, but only from other random players who give you their vote. -

can't speak for all but i am not a fan of rewarding a person for playing a particular class. I think a better fix would be to add more tank/healer jobs.
