Main Quest line BUG!! need help now

I just finished Duty, Honor, Country and I am to attend a dinner in Ul'dah.
after the cut scene I am supposed to receive a quest and im supposed to get a ring from the goldsmith guild but I have not received this quest and all im getting is redirected by GM's and forum help.

I went to the people im supposed to talk to in the next quest to see if maybe the quest didn't show but they just say small talk.

I need help this is 6 days working on this issue and I cant play because I cant progress.
no mount no airship pass nothing.

Please Help

So for the continuing problem many have faced with the main story line quest for "duty, honor, and country" the tech support has no answers for us all however by shear luck me and my brother happen to find a fix for hopefully all of you. if you go to hustings strip in the steps thal' go to coordinates X8 Y13 and talk to an npc named "Sultan Sworn Elite" and he will give you an option for the story quest "matter of Tradition" and will progress you through. KEEP IN MIND YOU WONT SEE A QUEST SIGN ABOVE HIS HEAD SO YOULL HAVE TO LOOK FOR HIM. hopefully this will solve most peoples issue as it did with us. thanks take care :cool:
