Fate Basics Please
Short story is I want to level my CNJ to 34 asap solely for stoneskin. I ground my GLD/PLD thusfar purely with dungeons and story. All I want is one ability, so I have no qualms useing the fates. I understand the opinions of fates and how they gimp folks etc. I'm not interested in that. Having said that, I don't know the etiquette / methodology of fate grinding.
My main question, as CNJ, do I need to be in a party? If so, do I simply go to the hot-spot and spam invite requests? Again, I've never done this and don't want to rouse any rage from folks.
Last question, under ideal circumstnces, how long should it take to go from 15-34? I'm really not a lazy person perse, I just want to be the best tank I can. I don't want to spend weeks leveling CNJ. (If you are tempted to tell me that I could benefit as a tank by leveling healer through dungeons, I agree to an extent, but it is not an option I wish to explore)
Thanks for any insight.

Typically people just shout for a group. You're better off in a group as everyone's contribution gets lumped together and you'll get gold more often than not. Of course if you plan on queuing for dungeons while doing FATEs you'll have to go it alone. (this is what I typically do)
Also, strategy for CNJ is you probably want to toss around Aeros on stuff and heal where needed.
You can probably go from 15-34 over a few nights of playing, around 4 hours per night.

Your results in a fate are based purely on cumulative enmity gain throughout the fate.
As a Conjurer if you aren't in a party, pick a person who seems to be in the thick of things and power load the heals.
Right now healing spells give the full heal regardless of the hp of the recipient, so even of your target is full you can spam heal and you are gaining contribution points.
Another, kind of crazy idea is to put flash on your bar an just spam flash. Though that is better for really crowded FATE where there isn't much risk of pulling aggro on a bunch of mobs at once and dying.
Though really fate mobs are usually big pansies so you could theoretically pull hate with flash, spam heal yourself and as long as the mobs die and you don't you'd make out like gangbusters.

As a conj getting gold solo was harder then any other class. Getting a group would be ideal.
/sh LFG fates works for me, it you want to be creative go for it. If I'm lead I just right click invite anyone I see in chat.
Average is 1 hour/level for me in fates (less I think at lower levels), now this will depend on your level and the fate level as well. Being close to the fate level or a couple levels above is best for xp. I did 20-30 in Quarrymill and 30-38 in costa de sol. Those are both heavy populated (at least on my server) and you'll have no issue getting crazy xp. Use some food for a 3% xp buff as well.
