My gf has suggested that we go as scholar and selene for halloween, which is pretty nifty, except that the scholar outift is so... bizzare. Other than the mortar board I've no real idea how to even remotely approximate the scholar AF.
Anyone done something similar? Have suggestions?
The pants in particular.. I can't even.

the jacket shouldn't be a problem to get, it's basically some sort of army jacket. put two medals on it, et voila.
for the pants, i think the designers went with something along the lines of WWI uniforms. at least that's the "vibe" i got from those.
my idea would be to go to some army shop that sells army merchandise, show them a picture and ask what they can get you...
and the boots...well, you probably won't get THOSE scholar boots but something that looks close enough won't be a problem i think. just get some knee high boots with a similar color i guess.

Maybe. Idk though, the red seems like it'll be hard to find, and the whole, flaring out at the top thing. I wouldn't even know how to go about making those. Too bad teh game isn't older, so cosplay sites could just be selling the costumes.
