I was wondering if anyone has any experiences with using the security app for your SE account on an android tablet or ipod?
As i cant use the smartphone app at all time as i travel to oil rigs offshore in my line of work and cant take my phone with me....
but an alternative would be to use the app on my tablet or ipod which would be fine as i can have both available here at home and at work....?

I have it installed on my gf's nook that I flashed custom FW on so its basically an android tablet now. It works fine for me, no issues here. as far as iOS Apple products, i dont use them so i don't know sorry.
thanks kyte as far as ive found so far aslong as its has above a certain OS version it works fine now i think il have to pick up a cheap android tablet then for taking away with me for extra security...!
Just a tip if you decide to use it:
Store the emergency removal password on your phone/tablet that you can have offline access to it just in case.
I would use a sticker for the removal password :p
