WAR self heal combo?
In a pinch a WAR can self heal Inner Beast if need for X amount of damage depending on your gear set up. But i want to know if a Berserk + Bloodbath + Inner beast is a good idea for a bigger self heal if needed. And can even Infuriate and do Inner Beast again 3 seconds later for another Heal.
But is it worth it in the long run?
As a WAR wearing AF + Ifrit Axe my normal Inner Beast is about 800-ish. But if I use said combo I can get it up to about 1300-ish. If I crit it turns into 1600-ish. Not including the Bloodbath heal. And I can double that with Infuriate.
I just want to know if its worth using in a pinch? Even with the 5 second Pacification.

I'll shoot you a combo you should practice. Check your lodestone blog post entitled "Have Patience?"

For those times where you know you'll need a big heal, I like to preemptively use Internal Release and have either Berserk or Bloodbath ready to pop with Inner Beast (you can normally time usage so that you always have a 2x CD buffed IB); outside of that, when there's no spike damage mechanic to watch for, I try to have one CD (IR/Berserk/Bloodbath) ready for IB use so it's always buffed when the heal is needed.

Berserk is nice to combo with second wind aswell, without it second wind doesnt heal for a whole lot.
The pacification part does very little harm, it only locks you out of weapon skills, so provoke, flash, defensive cds and all those are still available. For times when the shit is about to hit the fan, berserk, conv, SW, thrill is a good option and the infuriate ready for a double inner beast if needed. If you know the fight well, feel your enmity is enough and shit is about to hit, buffing your damage and debuffing slash resist is also a good option instead of a double inner beast. That also leads to some big heals. But it has to be timed more properly.

I always pair Bloodbath, Foresight and Vengeance.
I group Berserk, Internal Release and Second Wind. Second Wind often crits and with Berserk will heal me between 1000-1200 HP by itself. Doing Inner Beast after that will heal me around 2000 and around 3000 if it crits.
Grouping Bloodbath with Berserk wont add very much to your self heal. It will also add to the time it takes to use other skills that are more useful, so I would recommend using it to sustain your health by always keeping it on cooldown.

convalesence + berserk + inner release + bloodbath + second wind
;are some of the combos I use for my "oh shit" moments. However I feel that the easiest fix for a war is just to make IB crit all the time. It mitigates the spike dmg and it gives you a reason to use the wrath stacks rather than sit on it and pop a def cd instead (which is what I normally do). 5 wrath + convalesence = 35% more healing over a period of 20 sec which is way better than healing roughly 800-1000 hp (w/o cirt) and loosing your stack imo. Plus you don't risk over healing and its at the point where I don't even use IB. I just use thrill of battle to give the healer some time.
