Is it possible to have 2 phone security apps?

Hey there, just wanted to ask a simple questions if you guys don't mind (I've been looking online and can't seem to find a definitive answer):

Is is possible to have 2 smart phone security apps active at the same time?

I currently have 1 set up on my own phone, and wanna set another one on my girlfriends phone so that she can play on her character on my account while I'm away or busy and can't just text her the one-time passwords.

I know that it is possible for blizzard products for example, but I can't seem to find info / activate another on on the square enix account managment. When i go under "One-time password" in their menu, I just have the option to remove and not add another so I kinda fear that I know the answer to this one but I hope it's not ture ;x

You can only have one security token applied to your account at any given time, whether it's a physical token or the phone app.

Having more than 1 authenticator kind of defeats the purpose.

I don't see why. I can manage my security on several devices quite fine. I have a 10" tablet that usually sits at home, and a smartphone; I use the latter, but would like to be able to use the tablet as well since it's pretty much always sitting on my desk close to me when I'm playing, and I'm more inclined to use its bigger screen when doing stuff at home.
