quest "everything she does is magitek" bug

Doing the quest on Wednesday 16 at around 10 pm Pst. I was traveling with the magitek and completed the first part of the quest by the crystal and dropped down, hit the analog stick (ps3) which can dismount while riding chocobo but this time it dismounted magitek. Magitek vanished. I ran to the next part of the quest and it shows a message from wedge to go back to the beginning. Wedge and Cid are not at the beginning and are nowhere to be found. Can't access the workshop either. So I can't complete the quest, can't abandon quest since it is part of the main story and I'm stuck at 50 unable to do endgame content. 2nd attempt to explain. I hope that is enough information.
