Launcher displays information in incorrect time zone.

Hi all,

Posted my thread originally a while back but got closed. still experiencing this issue, ive tried a few things including changing the region setting in config, ive noticed when i do this region 2 appears to be USA (PDT) region 3 which was the original option and appears to be GMT.

When setting it from region 2 to region 3 i get my times display in GMT for 1 launch
then it reverts back to PDT.

If i wish to see times in GMT when it has launched PDT i must click any news topic, then clock close which will then display the correct time zone information.

Is there any other suggestions to resolve this, pretty minor issue i know but frustrating when you want to see times of maint etc..

It should be taking it's cues from either your SE account or your system. If you are running cross region, I imagine it's going to be perpetually mixed up.

I'm NA, everything setup to be NA and my system is East Coast Timezone, so the times are consistent (unless SE did a copy/paste from an announcement made to another region first, and it still states a GMT time). That is how they make their announcements by the way. They typically state a GMT or PDT time as an index (NA typically PDT, others GMT). You have to adjust the announced time according to what your local time is from that index.

yes, mine should be GMT(this is my time zone 50% of the year) but can not be set to this it seems.

I dont see how it would be dictated by where my account is from its an EU account, the variable seems to be set locally, though i think there must be 2 conflicting options set? since i can force it for 1 launch to launch as GMT..
