PS3 and PC

Here is my question: Can you use your account on both the PC and PS3? I want to relax some nights and play on my ps3 so I can soak into the depths of my coach and slowly be eaten by cat without realizing it. Currently I am playing on a PC and love it. I feel like I have a lot control, but some nights I would like to use my ps3.

Is this possible?

Must I buy a separate copy for my ps3? I can't use my registration code for the PC on the ps3 can I? What if I buy a special edition copy at gamestop? Will I gain the benefits on my account and use it on my PC as well?

Can I use the same character on both the PS3 and PC versions?

Yes, by selecting the same service account when activating the PS3 and Windows versions for the first time, it is possible to play the same characters on both the PS3 and Windows versions.
(If you own Version 1.0, select the Version 1.0 service account when activating the PS3 version for the first time.)

*It is not possible to simultaneously play with the same service account on the PS3 and Windows version, so please beware.
*You will need to purchase both the Windows and PS3 versions of the product.

Selected service accounts cannot be changed later, so please register them carefully.

Edit: I want to make sure, because the site is not that clear. When I buy a ps3 version of FF and get home, all I have to do is register the ps3 code to my account? I am allowed to register 1 PC and 1 PS3 registration code to my account right?
