Learning_Linkshell/Learning_LFG Looking For More

Hi Folks,

My name is Natharin T'sin and I run the Balmung Learning_Linkshell and Learning_LFG communities on our fine server. What are they? Well, beyond the self-explanatory nature of the name I will explain the purposes of each below.

Learning_Linkshell:

Learning_Linkshell is a linkshell dedicated to welcoming new players to the world of Eorzea, assisting in the re-acclimation of newly returned 1.0 players and providing a safe, positive and nurturing environment for all in the LS. It currently houses 80+ members of which more than half are mentors.

Learning_LFG:

Learning_LFG is a linkshell created to facilitate the completion of relic quests for new level 50s. It is a place where seasoned players can put some of their free time to good use, assisting newer level 50s in gearing out and getting ready for end-game content. It is also a great place to put together AK/WP farm runs!

Why I am posting here? For a few reasons.

First, exposure. We can only help people if they know about us. While I do spend quite a bit of time teleporting from city to city to get the word out (you have probably heard me shouting from time to time) I am hoping this thread will bring some new and returning players into the fold.

Second, Learning_LFG recruitment. While Learning_Linkshell has taken off, Learning_LFG is expanding more slowly, likely due to the fact that I have been spending most of my time recruiting for Learning_LFG. Are you a new level 50? Are you a veteran that has patience and positive attitude? Send me a tell in game for an invite!

Third, I am looking for recruiters. The vast majority of the recruitment load has been on me. I am looking for a couple of people to share that responsibility. People who in their spare time will go from capitol to capitol (and their ajoined new player areas) spreading the word in shout.

In Closing:

I would first like to thank all of the folks that have joined Learning_Linkshell and Learning_LFG already, making them a positive and scholarly home for new players, returning players and current players alike. The response quite honestly has been humbling. There are so many players out there that want nothing more than to selflessly assist others, it is a testament to the community and the quality of players playing FFXIV.
