Auto repairing worn weapons and armor

I was thinking about a system that would auto repair your weapons over RL time. kind of like anima. a certain amount of time passes and a small percent gets repaired. as it seems now at least for me i have to level every craft and carry all the items for each piece of my equipment. this gets very cumbersome. not to mention you cant trade broken or worn weapons or sell them so they just stack up in your inventory. what do you guys think?

Sounds like more effort then is needed when we can instantly fully repair them when needed

how could gears automatically repair themselves? doesn't make sense

unless it's a legendary weapon which can do that

pretty much this. All you need is the mat, shards, craft skill. On a different character I had 10 goldsmithing and could repair my weathered hora easy.

I would like a repair kit that any class can use to repair any item to 75% and then give crafters who use the proper mats for the repair a chance to +1 the repair.
