On all my crafts I have left trigger+ B as meld materia. Whenever I learn a new ability that would require a new crossbar sheet on my DoW/DoM it adds the ability to the new blank cross bar (right trigger B) and changes whatever I have in Left trigger B to meld materia.
We appreciate you taking the time to report this trouble you are having to us. However, since this sounds like something requiring Technical Support rather than a bug report, I will be closing this particular thread.
