Overpopulation and server transfers.

So when I started playing this game, me and my gf was forced to start on a different server from the rest of our friends because the server filled up (Moogle EU). Now after a month the free character transfers finally come up and we both jump at the possibility of joining our friends, only problem is she manages to transfer after 15 minutes of trying while I was continuously locked out for the better part of 3 hours. I sat there trying to register and refresh the whole time but with no luck.

I come back after a while to try again hoping it might have settled a bit only to find out the server is now full, it isn't showing up on my world list at all after several attempts. This leaves me stranded without a chance of joining my friends and my gf and has left me quite angry and frustrated at SE for not actually fixing the problem, but in my case making it worse.

Is there any chance for me?

There should be a chance for you. Just try again during "non-peak" hours of the server of your choice. Many players from my area were planning to move to a highly populated server and just about 30 minutes ago, it was open as destination for server transfer.

Don't give up hope. :)
