Questions concerning World Transfer and Payment

Hi guys!

A friend recently informed me that since I'm still on my free trial I'm ineligible for the transfer. I walked through the steps just to verify and not only does that appear to be the case, I don't yet see my XIV subscription yet linked to my pre-existent(FFXI player) SE account. I can access my account(s) and verify that I'm still on my free trial, and obviously I'm logged in here(token password and all), so it's not like my account's a non-entity, it's just PS3. Are these all things that will clear up once I'm off my trial?

Looking for anyone who has some insight to offer from their own experiences.

Once you choose your method of payment and get that entered, you should recieve an automatic e mail letting you know in advance that a charge will be made on your account, mine came about four days or five days before the actual charge so when it was charged on the 14th, i got a notice on the 9th. So that may help you be re assured and if you DONT get that notice, and then another saying the charage acutally took place then you may need to talk to support and make sure your sub is linked to your service account correctly . hope that helps.

I'd never actually opened the email I received back earlier this month, so I didn't realize there was an additional confirmation step.

Thank you so much! Now I'm off to see if there's any truth to that trial ineligibility thing, because I'm thinking that it might not apply if you've already provided a payment method.
