Legacy transfers and the future

So if they ever open legacy to non legacy servers..will we get it free then?

Many of my friends are on a non legacy server and only started recently so i'm stuck on a legacy server can only transfer to legacy unless i make a new char, explain to me how this is fair for non-legacy chars, especially on the fact...that at the time balmung was the only server it would let me make my char on!

i'd probably have gone to gilgamesh but....i've seen the community there it's as bad as balmung...
